On your device, from your location, using well-established calculation methods — no internet needed once your location is known. To change the method or apply a Hijri adjustment, go to Settings → Prayer times and pick the convention your local mosque follows.
Why does the app need my location?
Prayer times and the Qibla both depend on where you are. Your location is used on your device only and is never sent to us. You can deny access and choose a city manually — all features keep working.
The Qibla arrow seems inaccurate.
The compass uses your device's magnetometer. Move away from metal and magnets, and make a figure-8 motion to calibrate. Ensure Location access is enabled.
How do I turn on prayer reminders and the Live Activity?
Go to Settings → Notifications and enable reminders. On supported iPhones, Islamify can show the next-prayer countdown on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Make sure notifications are allowed for Islamify in iOS Settings.
Is the Qurʾān available offline?
Yes — the full Arabic text and translation are bundled and work without internet. Audio recitation and the live Qurʾān radio require a connection, as they stream from online sources. If a station is down, try another.
How does the Sibḥa (tasbīḥ) counter work?
Open the Sibḥa from the Habits screen, choose a dhikr (or add your own with a target count), and tap to count. Progress is saved per-dhikr, and your azkār history is recorded by hour, day, week, month, and year. Counts made on Apple Watch sync back to your iPhone.
Do I need an account, and how do I delete it?
No — tap “Continue without an account” to use the app fully. An account only adds cross-device sync and social features. To delete it, go to Settings → Account → Delete account; this permanently removes your account and signs you out.
What data does Islamify collect?
Very little. We don't track you, show ads, or use analytics. Location stays on your device; account info (if you sign in) is limited to your name and email. See the Privacy Policy for details.
