Terms of Use

Islamify provides prayer times, Qibla direction, the Qurʾān, duʿāʾ, dhikr, and habit tracking for personal, non-commercial use. Religious content is provided to support your worship and is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified scholar.

You can use most of the app without an account. If you create one, you're responsible for the activity under it and for providing accurate information. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account.

The app includes optional social features (friends and shared habits). You agree not to use the app or these features to post, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, abusive, or otherwise objectionable, and not to harass or impersonate others.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You can report a user directly in the app (Friends → tap a friend → Report, or on an incoming friend request), and you can mute or remove any friend at any time. We review reports and may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms. You can also contact us at marwan@elmaraghy.me.

Prayer times and Qibla direction are calculated estimates based on your location and the calculation method you select; they may differ from your local mosque or authority, so please verify locally. The Qurʾān text and translations are provided under their respective licences (see Settings → About in the app). If you spot an error, please tell us so we can correct it.

The app and its original content are owned by Marwan Elmaraghy or its licensors. Third-party content — including the Qurʾān text (QPC Hafs, © King Fahd Glorious Qurʾān Printing Complex), the Saheeh International translation, the tajwīd corpus (Tanzil, CC BY), recitation audio, and the bundled typefaces — belongs to its respective owners and is used under their licences. You may not copy, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works except as permitted by law or those licences.

The app relies on third-party services (such as authentication providers and audio/radio content delivery networks). Your use of those services through the app is also subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or availability.

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We may suspend or discontinue the app, or restrict access for violations of these Terms.
